Dr. Remeredzai Joseph Kuhudzai is the Founder of Electric Drive Africa (EDA), a Pan African Platform promoting the adoption of electric vehicles across the continent. Over the past 2 years he has been travelling across the continent and collaborating with stakeholders to raise awareness on electric vehicles. He is also an Author at CleanTechnica, one of the World’s top sites for Cleantech news and electric vehicles.

At university he explored materials with applications in the energy space ending up doing a PhD involving the study of radiation damage in High Temperature Gas Cooled Nuclear Reactors. He has since transitioned to work in the solar and storage industry and his love for batteries has driven him to obsess about electric vehicles. He is also the Head of Innovation for Distributed Power Africa, a market leader in innovative solar energy solutions. We have operations in Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
