Daniel Marokane is a qualified Chemical Engineer who also holds an MBA. The 50-year-old is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the oil, gas, and power industries in various operational and strategic leadership roles. He was previously the Chairman of the Eskom Enterprises Board, as well as the Eskom Roshcon and Rotek Industries Board. His extensive knowledge of the Eskom environment and leadership skills position him well for his role as the new Group Chief Executive of Eskom.
