Colin McGibbon is COO of ERG Africa. With more than three decades of experience in the mining and metals industry across diverse geographies and jurisdictions, Colin’s extensive career spans multiple continents, including Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Before joining ERG Africa, Colin was CEO and President of the Supervisory Council at Saarstahl Rail, CEO of the SLN Nickel Company in the South Pacific, and VP of Operations at the Ambatovy Joint Venture in Madagascar. He holds an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is a chartered engineer and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
