Chetan Chiba, Head of Technology at Chenosis, is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications sphere, boasting an extensive 20-year plus track record. His expertise in Telco, mobile applications, system deployment, and customer experience has been instrumental in Chenosis’ quest to innovate and develop digital platforms and services.
At MTN Group Ltd, Chiba led the Core VAS and Digital Services department, focusing on the evolution of core digital platform architecture and enhancing key services like the MyMTN mobile app, the API Gateway, and MTN’s Mobile Money Platforms.
He holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
He excels in integrating complex technological solutions with business strategies, and throughout his career has demonstrated a unique ability to steer teams towards organisational goals. His technical
acumen and leadership excellence make him a key player in the Chenosis team’s journey towards boosting digital and financial inclusion across Africa.
