· Last Position Held – Manager: Public Transport Systems (Technical Implementation, Maintenance & Operations)

Projects included –

· MyCiTi BRT AFC System – design, build, installation, testing, commissioning, operations & maintenance of a world first EMV LVP contactless bank card system, with a hosted National Department of Transport (NDoT) data structure on the card for implementing transit products.

· MyCiTi BRT Advanced Public Transport Management System – design, build, installation, testing, commissioning, operations & maintenance of a Control Centre, real-time passenger information, station & onboard CCTV and computer aided scheduling

· 2010 World Cup (WC) – implemented bus control system in support of WC public transport operations

· Introduced Light Detection and Radar (LIDAR) Technology – a national first, enabling a 3D model of the City to be created for use in multiple departments across the City

· Sea Level Rise Risk Assessment for Strategy and Planning Department – numerical analytics of storms for a period 20 years & consequent wave behavior along the coastline of the Western Cape

· Received – 2014 – National Department of Transport (NDoT) South Africa Service of Excellence Award for Category ‘Best Female Employee in Transport’

· 1990 – Russian Rescue Mission to Antarctica

· 1992 – Produced a National first atlas of the variations in sea surface temperatures around the Southern African Coast
