Catiana Garcia-Kilroy is Lead Financial Sector Specialist and Program Manager for the Sustainable Finance Facility at the World Bank. A Global Program supporting long-term finance mobilization in strategic sectors for growth and sustainable finance. She leads World Bank advisory in supporting several Governments develop blended finance approaches to finance sustainable infrastructure, as well the ecosystems for voluntary carbon credit markets as a tool to mobilize private sector financing for countries’ decarbonization strategy in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa. Before joining the World Bank in 2010, she worked for over 19 years on investment and capital markets. She holds a postgraduate degree in European Studies (Finance), a degree in Economics, both from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, and a degree in Geography and History from the Complutense University in Madrid.
