Benoît has in excess of forty years of environmental engineering experience concentrating on the Water, Wastewater, Waste and associated Energy fields serving all tiers of government, mining, utilities, SOE’s, industry and agriculture. He has been developing and integrating environmental solutions internationally using appropriate technologies via advisory services and the supply &/or co-ordination of specialized technologies with a focus on digitising the water value chain for the past few years.
Current activities are focusing on the revitalisation of the South African water sector with a lead role in the SA Water Chamber as co-founder and CEO where these initiatives seek to engender water resilience and attract investment back into South Africa. Part of the revitalising program is participating in the development of several key conferences where he is on the IFAT Africa advisory board since 2020 and participates as a panellist, moderator and thematic presenter in over half a dozen conferences. Benoît enjoys his regular key note addresses that assist in furthering the water security journey of the region.

Management where he is the Operations Director and shareholder of Nexus Water Alchemy and also a founding director and CEO of Water Ledger SA.
Benoît is an avid believer in that digital water is not only an economic enabler, but a national priority for South Africa’s economic revival and a general theme globally.
