Beatrice Eyong was born in Cameroon; she is over 35 years professional working experience in promoting gender equality and Women’s Working with political and State institutions the UN and Other International Organisations: Worked with different Political parties in Eastern DRC to promote Women’s Leadership especially aligning them in the lists of political parties. I have worked with Parliamentarians in Eastern DRC on Gender and Elections and Gender responsive legislations; the Parliament in Cameroon advocating for gender equality and Women’s Empowerment; Parliament of Niger on gender and Menstrual Hygiene Management and Parliament of Mali for gender responsive legislations.
Consultancies:
She worked as a consultant in different domains of gender for institutions like the University of Laval in Canada, Pan African Institute for development, UNIFEM (now UN Women) Cameroon Office, CINADCO in Israel, UNFPA, UNDP, etc.
She also worked as an agronomist and gender specialist for my government in different development programmes funded by the African Development Bank, IFAD and GTZ.
