Ayomide Atanseiye

Global Operations Director, AfriMine, Nigeria

Ayomide began his professional career as an intern Mining Engineer at Dangote Limetone Mines, Ibese Mines where he developed the qualities and relevant experiences for mining operations such as coordinating and managing mine development, coordinating production activities overseeing the health and safety in mines and effective communication skill. He was the pioneer Mining Engineer for the largest quarry in Kaduna state, Nigeria where he led a team of about 10-15 members in his drill & blast crew producing about 100,000 tonnes of aggregate per month.
He is currently the project superintendent for Motimose Metals where he provides technical support in business planning, mine engineering and production, project review for economic and investment decisions.

He serves as the Global Operations Director for AfriMine, a non-profit initiative dedicated to showcasing the beauty of the Mining and Mineral-related industry and building a global community of mining young professionals.
Ayomide has a BEng. In Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure and MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington D.C
