Audrey is a Senior Manager/Director at Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality in Limpopo Province, South Africa. She manages a for Community Services Department that focuses on waste and environmental management, community and social services, community safety and law enforcement. Audrey is a registered professional scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) with over 10 years of experience in the water and environmental sectors. She has proudly led the Young Water Professionals (YWP), an empowerment platform of the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA). Her highest qualification is a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management, and she has also completed various certificates nationally on development, education and training; risk management and project management. She also holds an international certificate on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (Delft, the Netherlands)
