Andile is a development strategy advisor1 with a specialization in integration and stakeholder management. With over 22 years’ experience and holding an MBA2, his professional focus is on providing support and advice to mainly government clients around major and transformational projects implementation and policy review processes.
Andile Skosana is currently leading three multi-stakeholder assignments to set outcomes with the Transaction Advisor for the appointment of the next concessionaire for Gautrain in 2026 as Lead: Stakeholder Management and Engagement Workstream; Social Facilitation consultant supporting Transnet Property: Asset Management Department in the Farmer Relocation project for Old Durban Airport; and, Project Director for the Rosebank e-Micromobility Pilot Project. Andile has served as a Lead Consultant for the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) Smart Cities Reimbursable Advisory Service, South Africa. He also leads CityConsolidator Africa (Pty) Ltd – an infrastructure and city development consultancy contributing to building the hard and soft infrastructure that will revitalize dynamic and growing cities.
In his role at CityCon.africa, Andile leads work with and for public sector and private clients as they solve ambiguous and complex infrastructure, policy and programme implementation problems. The driving belief in CityCon.africa is that responsive governments improve the lives of all people; and, CityCon. Africa’s support contributes to creating a conducive environment for people and other actors to thrive.
Andile is an MBA Transition Mentor and a Course Facilitator for Henley Business School providing customised support alongside Strategy, Governance and Integrated Logistics courses for their public sector clients.
Andile draws from his experience in the private and public sector that commenced by leading the compilation of the Integrated Development Plan and 20-year City Strategy of South Africa’s Capital City – the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. This was followed by leading his own companies in private practice focused on pre-development services. He then led the South African chapter of the KPMG Global Cities Centre of Excellence; and most recently has been the Client Director: Government Afrika at the South African company3 of the Aurecon Group.
