 Freshly appointed Managing Director of Ecobank DRC, Alassane Sorgo has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector. In 1999, he joins Ecobank as the head of operations at ETI after a spell at Ibanema Export. He has since been Financial Controller for Togo and Ivory Coast, UEMOA Financial Director before becoming UEMOA Executive Assistant in Dakar, Business Finance Manager to the Group CEO, Business Finance Manager to the CEO of the group, Director of the domestic banking market and Deputy General Manager then General Manager of Ecobank Chad. 

Holder of a DUT in Finance and Accounting from the National Polytechnic Institute of Yamoussoukro, a Master in Accounting and Financial Sciences and Techniques from the University of Abidjan and a Diploma of Accounting and Financial Studies from the Academy of Nice, his expertise enabled him to succeed Jean-Baptiste Siate as Managing Director of Ecobank DRC.
