The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is home to a variety of key metals and minerals, including cobalt and copper, lithium and the 3T’s (tin, tungsten and tantalum), all of which are forecast to see rapid demand increases as the battery metals market grows.

The DRC-Africa Battery Metals Forum is the central hub for building a thriving battery metals industry in Africa. Our purpose is to provide the DRC with a platform to build a battery manufacturing industry.
