Talent Officer

This role specializes in Talent Acquisition (recruitment, selection processes, workforce planning, recruitment database, recruitment campaigns, career fairs, recruitment advertising, social media recruitment) and supports selection activities.  

To manage an effective, efficient, and professional centralised recruitment delivery service to attract and acquire talent to facilitate the achievement of business objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • End to end process design for the attraction and tracking of new employees (permanent/fixed term). 
  • End to end youth pipeline recruitment design (graduates/interns). 
  • End to end recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Monitor trends and design specific recruitment & selection, and placement interventions to drive capacity building. 
  • Build talent pipelines for future needs. 
  • Compile monthly reports on recruitment & selection, placement metrics and challenges with area of responsibility. 
  • Providing recruitment reports to team managers. 
  • Provide quarterly stats on scarce and critical skills within the business. 
  • Ensure that payroll documents are collated and submitted. 
  • Keeping up to date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company. 
  • Engagement with external stakeholders (agencies, higher educational institutions). 
  • Collaborating with managers to compile a consistent list of requirements. 
  • Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration. 
  • Assist in coordinating all team related activities and events. 
  • Participate in the Culture Committee as it relates to recognition, training, and augmenting the service culture of the company. 
  • Drive existing and new culture programs to recognize colleagues throughout the company on a monthly basis. 
  • Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities. 

Minimum requirements: 

  • HR diploma or degree 
  • Experience in the recruitment industry would be an advantage 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Skilled in Social media
