Responsibilities:
- Consultative selling to new and existing clients.
- Ability to provide solutions based on client’s objectives and needs.
- Build and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients.
- Creative thinking on new opportunities and sourcing new clients.
- Keeping up to date with market trends and arriving at new marketing solutions to fit those trends.
- Efficient sales administration.
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and the internal team, and be able to articulate offerings to production team for deliverables.
- Business development at industry events and trade exhibitions.
- Accurate forecast abilities.
- Liaise with finance department to assist with credit control when required.
Requirements:
- Excellent track record of sales performance, in particular face-to-face, including objection handling, negotiation, relationship building, problem solving.
- Experience within the B2B media sales space; conferences and exhibitions.
- Confidence in conversing with VP and C-level prospects at peer-to-peer level.
- Demonstration of excellent market and product knowledge.
- Enthusiasm, commitment to the role, and pro-activity.
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
- Outstanding telephone etiquette.
- The ability to understand client objectives and provide solutions.
