We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Conference Delegate Sales executive to join our team and contribute to the success of our conferences and events. As a Conference Delegate Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving attendee registrations and ensuring the growth of our conference participation. Your primary focus will be on generating sales through outbound prospecting, client relationship management, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential conference delegates through various channels, including phone calls, email, and social media.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, sponsors, and partners to promote delegate attendance and foster loyalty.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that includes pricing, incentives, and discounts to maximize delegate registrations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing delegate inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive delegate experience.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and report on sales performance, providing insights to improve sales strategies.
- Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed delegate registration targets to contribute to the success of the conferences.
- Proven experience in delegate sales or a related field, preferably in the conference or event industry.
- Currently residing in Cape Town (applicants from outside of Cape Town will not be accepted).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Knowledge of the conference industry and its trends is a plus.
- Extremely well organized.
