Overview

The project integrates solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, hydrogen production through electrolysis, long-term hydrogen storage, and lithium-ion battery storage. The PV plants will generate electricity to power the electrolyser, producing green hydrogen. Excess hydrogen will be stored on-site, providing a continuous supply of electricity through high-power fuel cells, even at night.
This system not only delivers clean electricity but also offers critical grid services such as power flexibility, system protection, grid support, and backup capabilities. In total, six land parcels will host approximately 1,500 MW of PV capacity paired with over 3,500 MWh of hydrogen storage—enough to power over 1.4 million people year-round.
